Meet Dr. Kelley Snodgrass

R.B. Kelley Snodgrass, D.C.

Some people are interested to find that I practice piano, Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates and Aikido. These are not really outside interests or unrelated hobbies. I believe that the more I know about my own body, the better able I will be to help you. The more physical skill I develop, the better my application of Classic Chiropractic. The disciplines of music, martial arts, Pilates and other activities requiring refined mind/body coordination only make me that much better as a health care practitioner. I would also encourage you to take up some practice, art or discipline which will enrich your life and enhance your health.

I came to the Catskills in 1986 because I wanted to live and work in a small rural community. I value the community and the neighborliness of the Catskills. My goal as Chiropractor is to reflect those values in my practice.

I didn't want to come here right out of chiropractic school. I wanted to learn my craft from an acknowledged master of Classic Chiropractic. After graduation from New York Chiropractic College, I spent two years under the direct supervision of the highly successful and respected Dr. Kenneth Ahlgren of New York City. He became my friend and mentor. He believed in treating his patients like friends, family and neighbors. He also had developed an amazing ability to deliver the accurate, powerful and effective adjustments which are the hallmark of Classic Chiropractic. Thanks to him, I am able to continue offering this service to the people of the Northern Catskills.

People comment that my office doesn't look like a doctor's office. My office is more like a living room than the modern medical facility it is. I even have a Steinway Grand Piano right in my treatment room. The rug, paintings, books and piano make me feel more at home and I want the friends and neighbors who come here to feel the same way.

If you call me on the phone during office hours, you will talk with me, not to a receptionist. Generally, I can fit you into my schedule on the day you call and when you get here, you won't have to wait very long before I see you.

When you run into a snag or barrier, when you fall or injure yourself, when you feel pain or discomfort, I am here to help.

I have been offering Classic Chiropractic services to the people of the Northern Catskills from my Delhi Office since 1986.

I believe that health is much more than the absence of disease. Living a connected and worthwhile life as a member of an active and thriving community is my idea of the basis for vitality and health. I love to walk around town greeting and chatting with friends and neighbors and I have enjoyed working with many civic groups and arts organizations.
